Gwendolyn Yearwood

Gwendolyn is a graduate of the Master’s of Music program at the University of British Columbia. Since 2012 she has performed on stages all over the world with a voice that was hailed by the Summerland Review as "a force to be reckoned with." A few of her more notable performances include: Countess in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro (UBC Opera), Magda in Gian Carlo Menotti’s The Consul (UBC Opera), Giorgetta in Puccini’s il Tabarro (UBC Opera), Musetta in Puccini's La Bohème (Burnaby Lyric Opera), Mimi in Puccini's La Bohème (Against the Grain Theatre), Selene in Samuel Coleridge-Taylor's Endymion's Dream (COSA Canada), and Fiordiligi in Mozart's Così fan tutte (Good Mess Opera Theatre)

From 2021-22 Gwendolyn was an artist fellow with the Association for Opera in Canada's RBC Artist Fellowship.
